Project Info
The goal of the Horizon Europe research project, AgriLoop is to overcome the constraints associated with feedstock complexity, process eco-efficiency, and end-product performances by optimizing the recovery of highly functional native molecules from primary and secondary residues and customizing bioconversion schemes towards microbial proteins and polyesters. This PhD research will benefit by creating innovative microbial-based pre-treatment and fermentation techniques for synthesising short- and medium-chain carboxylic acids from agri-food wastes, this PhD research will benefit Agriloop.
