Cytiva is hiring a Quality Control Technician in Cardiff, United Kingdom. To guarantee that resources are supplied to production on time and that consumers receive their purchases, the quality control technician is in charge of carrying out normal testing and release procedures for raw materials and completed goods. In order to support production and the larger enterprise, they will also monitor and look into non-conforming items.
Job Information
This role is part of the Cardiff-based Quality Control department and will be an on-site role with a rotating shift pattern. It reports to the Quality Control Team Leader.
- Raw material and final product testing, measurement, and inspection.
- Batch records are reviewed, quality release actions are carried out, and GDP regulations are followed.
- Make that non-conformances are reported as soon as they happen, and when necessary, conduct in-depth investigations.
- Provide pertinent stakeholders with data and findings from QC activities and, as necessary, suggest actions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- It is preferable to have a formal engineering or scientific degree. It is crucial to be able to read technical drawings.
- The capacity to operate independently, with little direction, and to prioritize tasks as needed while keeping a cross-functional perspective.
- It is advantageous to have prior experience working in a manufacturing setting that is governed by ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or quality control.
- Able to make logical, impartial conclusions when called for.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with lean methodologies.
