Joining the Product Development, Integration, and Enterprise Engineering cluster as an Enterprise Technology Expertise Engineer will allow you to collaborate with other internal specialists who specialize in different facets of enterprise engineering. The group works together on several products that support Roche’s internal business needs. With an emphasis on clinical trial management, regulatory information management, quality management, and quality documents, you will be responsible for technical leadership, creating, optimizing, and managing IT services and applications at Veeva as a Technology Expertise Engineer. Additionally, you will concentrate on making sure that every part of the digital product lifecycle, including maintenance tasks, is secure, scalable, and cost-effective. You will be involved in comprehending the functions and procedures of business applications as part of enterprise engineering.
Required Experience
- Extensive experience with and expertise in Veeva’s data models, architecture, integration techniques, and configuration tools.
- Technical and functional expertise with Veeva apps, particularly those found on the Vault Platform, such as QualityDocs, RIM, Clinical, and QMS. Any further Veeva expertise is also beneficial.
- Familiarity with the installation of User Provisioning Services and Veeva Connections/Connectors
- The Veeva platform’s certification will bring value.
- Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality Management Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards such as Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and clinical, regulatory, and quality processes.
- Broad technical proficiency in data warehousing, reporting, integrations, transactional systems, and security.
- Strong coordination and project management abilities.
Qualifications
- Eight or more years of relevant job experience combined with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
- at least five years of experience working in a multinational workplace (experience in the pharmaceutical or life science industries is preferred).
- Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities
- Strong knowledge of security and regulatory compliance
- It helps to have prior experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
