Novo Nordisk Engineering (NNE) is Hiring a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Analyst in Bengaluru, India

NNE is looking for a Senior MES Engineer to join their hybrid team, which combines Manufacturing IT and Process Automation. Using cutting-edge MES and DCS platforms, our team converts complicated process requirements into optimum control strategies and master batch records (MBRs), which is a critical component in delivering digital factory solutions.

Job Information

  1. Using ABB 800xA batch management and PAS-X MES, leading or assisting in the design and implementation of Master Batch Records (MBRs) for Clean-in-Place (CIP) and product manufacturing processes.
  2. Using ABB 800xA or comparable platforms to design, develop, and optimize automation strategies and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
  3. Leading client requirement gathering meetings to create workflows that adhere to legal requirements and corporate procedures.
  4. Combining the DCS (800xA) and MES (PAS-X) systems to facilitate data integrity, traceability, and batch execution.
  5. Closely working with cross-functional teams that include data historians, validation engineers, and process experts (e.g., AVEVA PI System).
  6. Assisting with cGMP-compliant system commissioning, testing, and qualification procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

  1. B.E./B.TECH or M.E./M.TECH in computer science, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, or a similar life science/engineering discipline.
  2. Two or more years of expertise with MES platforms, such as Emerson Syncade, Körber PAS-X, or any other capable MES software.
  3. At least two years of expertise with DCS platforms, especially with ABB System 800xA, DeltaV, or comparable systems.
  4. A thorough awareness of ISA-88 batch control standards, cGMP, and the legal requirements for the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals.
  5. Proven expertise in creating, evaluating, and validating manufacturing systems in a GxP-regulated setting.
