System Architect – PDS | Cytiva

System Architect – PDS roles are at the heart of Cytiva’s mission to transform human health through advanced therapeutics. As part of our Process Development Services (PDS), this position serves as the technical design authority for our operational backbone. Based in our Bengaluru center (with fully remote flexibility), the System Architect – PDS will build and evolve the data foundations and AI capabilities that drive our Clinical Programs platform.

Role Overview

In this high-impact individual contributor role, the System Architect – PDS owns the architecture of our PDS PMO and analytics engine. You will report to the Director of Global PDS PMO & Business Analytics, combining system development with applied AI to turn process development data into decision-grade insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture Ownership: Design and maintain the technical infrastructure for PDS, ensuring a “single source of truth” for all datasets.

2. AI & Automation: Build basic AI agents and AI-enabled workflows to support customer insight capture and reuse.

3. Capacity Visibility: Develop scalable systems to monitor portfolio visibility across various services and global projects.

4. Integration Leadership: Manage complex integrations across workflow platforms, BI tools (Power BI, Qlik), and enterprise systems like Salesforce and Snowflake.

Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

2. Experience: 5+ years of experience building end-to-end data solutions and analytics products.

3. Tools: Proficiency with Smartsheet (including Bridge), Microsoft Power Platform, and Box API.

4. Mindset: Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and a passion for “Agentic” AI capabilities.
