As a Manufacturing Associate I, you will play a critical role in the assembly and testing of tangential flow filtration cassettes and single-use devices used by pharmaceutical companies worldwide to create life-saving biologic drugs.

Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in the biotechnology industry. The Manufacturing Associate I in Marlborough is responsible for the hands-on assembly of cassette components, ensuring all products meet strict quality and quantity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Precision Assembly: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to assemble single-use devices, using hand tools, torque wrenches, and tube cutters.

Quality Inspection: Conduct visual inspections and integrity testing of components to ensure compliance with internal quality standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and concise process documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Cleanroom Operations: Work within a controlled environment (cleanroom), maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and organization.

Equipment Maintenance: Operate die-cutting and trimming equipment while ensuring all tooling remains clean and functional.
Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Skills: Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; basic computer literacy (MS Office and SAP experience is a plus).

Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and routinely lift up to 50 lbs.

Availability: Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production goals.
