Key Responsibilities

1. Operating and monitoring semi-automated and automated production equipment used in sensor manufacture and packaging.
2. Diagnosing product and process issues quickly and effectively using a logical, structured troubleshooting approach.
3. Completing and maintaining accurate batch documentation, process records, and quality metrics in line with GMP requirements.
4. Applying statistical analysis to monitor process performance and flag deviations before they affect output.
5. Collaborating with quality, engineering, and packaging colleagues to resolve line issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Following all site safety, quality, and regulatory procedures applicable to a regulated diagnostics manufacturing environment.
7. Supporting changeovers, minor equipment maintenance, and line setup activities as needed.

Qualifications

Required

1. Relevant experience in a manufacturing, production, or process technician capacity, ideally within a regulated environment.
2. Strong computer literacy, including comfort with manufacturing execution systems and digital documentation.
3. Working knowledge of statistical analysis as applied to process monitoring.
4. Demonstrated ability to diagnose technical and process issues using logical, methodical reasoning.
5. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-based production environment.

Preferred

• A relevant technical or engineering qualification (degree-level or equivalent), though Roche notes this is preferred rather than mandatory where relevant experience is present.
• Prior exposure to medical device, pharmaceutical, or diagnostics manufacturing under GMP or ISO 13485 conditions.
