Role Overview and Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for offering product expertise, application knowledge, and technical support along each step of the customer’s journey. You will work closely with both the sales team and external clients to ensure the seamless design, validation, and implementation of complex instrumentation, primarily focusing on advanced cell analysis platforms (like the Incucyte product line) or Fluid Management Technologies (FMT).

  1. Supporting the regional sales organization through high-quality technical presentations, live demonstrations, and product evaluations.

  2. Assisting clients immediately following a sale with hands-on customer training, troubleshooting, and continuous application reviews.

  3. Collaborating cross-functionally with Quality and Product Management teams to provide crucial Voice-of-Customer (VOC) insights for continuous improvement.

  4. Conducting on-site field trials and generating exhaustive technical reports to ensure client application requirements are fully achieved.

Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences discipline (a Master’s or PhD is highly valued).

  2. Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with advanced laboratory workflows, fluorescence microscopy, single-use technology, or eukaryotic cell culture.

  3. Travel & Physical Demands: A valid US driver’s license and the willingness to travel domestically between 30% to 50% across the assigned territory. The physical ability to lift up to 49.9 lbs on a semi-regular basis is also required to manage field equipment.

  4. Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities with the proven ability to interact effectively across multiple operational tiers (from lab technicians to high-level executives).
