Key Responsibilities
As a dedicated HSE Specialist, you will play a critical role in safeguarding people, processes, and progress. Your daily work will directly influence a culture of safety excellence and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic production environment. Your primary duties will include:

HSE Data Analysis: Manage and analyze environmental, health, and safety data. You will ensure the accurate tracking, reporting, and proactive communication of key safety metrics.

Incident Investigation: Lead or support thorough incident investigations, ensuring that root causes are identified and that timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across production, facilities, and administration to drive safety awareness, organizational alignment, and continuous improvement.

Regulatory Alignment: Ensure operations are fully compliant with guidelines set by agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify as a competitive candidate for the HSE Specialist Indianapolis role, you will need a robust background in industrial health, safety, and regulatory compliance. The ideal profile includes:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, health and safety, engineering, or a related field. (Candidates with a minimum of four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree are also encouraged to apply).

Experience: At least three years of professional experience in a dedicated health and safety role within a manufacturing setting.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of United States regulations, including EPA, OSHA, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) standards.

Waste Management: Practical experience managing hazardous waste and supporting comprehensive environmental compliance activities.
