Role Information
As the Product Manager for Immunoassay (IA), you will be the primary driver of growth for Beckman Coulter’s IA portfolio in India. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets and expanding market share through the design and execution of high-impact marketing strategies. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of sales, scientific marketing, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Growth & Strategy

Strategy Development: Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans for the Immunoassay product line to drive continuous growth and market penetration.

Financial Oversight: Manage sales budgets, monitor performance against monthly/quarterly forecasts, and implement pricing and segmentation strategies to meet commercial targets.

Business Opportunity Identification: Identify new market segments and develop business cases to prioritize high-value opportunities.
2. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

Competitive Analysis: Coordinate market research to gather intelligence on competitor activities and market trends.

Tool Creation: Develop sales enablement tools and counter-strategies to address competitive threats and maintain a dominant market position.
3. Product Lifecycle & Forecasting

Product Improvement: Contribute to product enhancements by providing feedback and recommendations based on market needs.

Accurate Forecasting: Create long-term, quarterly, and monthly product forecasts, aiming for high accuracy (target variance ≤10%).
4. Scientific Marketing & Collaboration

Thought Leadership: Provide scientific marketing support through Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, hospital-based clinical programs, and publications.

Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with Sales, Learning & Development (L&D), Service, and Regional Marketing teams to align strategies and resolve critical product issues.

Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and strategic clinical customers.

Candidate Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field (M.Sc./B.Sc.). An MBA is highly preferred.

Experience: * 10–15 years of total experience in the medical device or diagnostics industry.

Minimum of 5 years in In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) sales or marketing.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in Immunoassay or Clinical Chemistry (Product Management, Applications, or Sales).

Skills:

Strong proficiency in data analytics (sales, unit, and ASP data).

Proven track record in building and maintaining accurate sales forecasts.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead CMEs and roundtable discussions.

Technical support or applications experience is considered a definite asset.
