Role Overview

As a Product Specialist Oncology, you will join the Singapore Marketing Company within the Oncology Business Unit. AstraZeneca is a global, innovation-driven BioPharmaceutical leader, and in this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering life-changing medicines. You will be responsible for executing proactive value propositions and building long-term relationships with healthcare stakeholders to ensure innovative cancer treatments reach the patients who need them most.

Key Responsibilities for the Product Specialist Oncology

  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and discover new business opportunities by engaging with mid to senior-level healthcare professionals and key medical accounts.

  2. Clinical Demand: Influence clinical demand through strategic engagement programs and scientific value propositions.

  3. Market Growth: Use a growth mindset to spot market opportunities and navigate complex clinical environments.

  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with internal teams to align on marketing strategies and ensure a unified approach to the Oncology ecosystem.

Requirements

  1. Education: A recognized University degree (Natural Sciences preferred).

  2. Experience: At least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience specifically within the Oncology or Specialty Care portfolio.

  3. Licensing: A valid Class 3/3A driving license.

  4. Mobility: Access to a personal or leased vehicle for full-time field use.

  5. Skills: Proven track record of influencing stakeholder decision-making in complex environments.
