Key Responsibilities of a Patent Coordinator
In this role, you will independently manage complex patent administrative matters across multiple international jurisdictions. You will collaborate closely with global patent attorneys to secure structural patent protection for cutting-edge therapies that change millions of lives. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Providing end-to-end patent support services to the global corporate intellectual property (CIP) team.

Handling formal matters related to worldwide patent prosecution, ensuring all company patents remain in force and are fully safeguarded against potential third-party challenges.

Managing incoming and outgoing case-related correspondence and archiving critical documentation accurately with zero-error performance.

Executing formal tasks related to filing, prosecution, and direct communication with the Indian Patent Office (IPO), while staying updated on revisions to regional IPO Rules and Acts.

Supervising, mentoring, and training junior team members and associate coordinators while strictly meeting your own structural due dates.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline backed by an excellent academic track record.

At least 3+ years of hands-on experience working specifically as a Patent Coordinator, preferably inside a reputable multinational company or an established IP law firm.

Practical expertise utilizing ANAQUA or a comparable electronic patent management system for end-to-end case tracking and data maintenance.

Solid structural knowledge of patent formal matters and compliance procedures governed by the European Patent Office (EPO), PCT, and the USPTO.

Flawless written and spoken English skills to effectively collaborate with global legal stakeholders and patent professionals worldwide.
