Responsibilities

Leading and managing the specialized Animal Health Regulatory Affairs team to ensure timely product registrations and strategic lifecycle management.

Reviewing, drafting, and executing complex project plans for new veterinary biological and pharmaceutical products.

Liaising closely with cross-functional matrix teams, including R&D, commercial business units, and external Contract Research Organizations (CROs).

Overseeing organizational adherence to local laws, national pharmacovigilance tracking, and strict statutory reporting guidelines.

Mentoring, coaching, and developing internal team capabilities to optimize the unit’s overall scientific quality of work.

Requirements and Qualifications

A minimum of 5 to 7 years of direct, relevant experience in a regulated healthcare or veterinary pharmaceutical industry.

A strong educational background (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Biological Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a related scientific field.

Proven expertise in dealing with regulatory bodies such as the UK Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) or equivalent international authorities.
