Role Overview

As a Microbiologist II in Singapore, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that routine and new product introductions meet the highest cGMP, EHS, and regulatory expectations. Key Responsibilities

  1. QC Operational Support: Timely conduct of testing and release for routine production and new product introductions (NPI).

  2. Compliance & Safety: Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for operational readiness in areas such as environment, utilities, and product testing.

  3. Technical Documentation: Authoring and reviewing lab documentation to ensure adherence to global and local site procedural needs.

  4. Investigations: Supporting the resolution of manufacturing and laboratory investigations (OOS/exceptions) to ensure timely issue resolution.

  5. Audit Readiness: Enabling successful outcomes in internal and external audits to sustain the site’s licenses to operate.

  6. Instrumentation: Managing the maintenance, calibration (PM/CAL), and technological refresh of lab infrastructure.

Requirements

  1. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Sciences (Biomedical, Biological, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmacy) or Engineering (Chemical, Pharmaceutical).

  2. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry.

  3. Technical Skills: Strong analytical thinking, technical writing skills, and a deep understanding of GMP/GLP environments.

  4. Soft Skills: Must be a motivated, independent worker and a collaborative team player capable of meeting tight timelines.
