The IQVIA Associate QA Analyst Bangalore opening (Requisition ID R1556470) is a hybrid, full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, and sits within IQVIA’s software quality assurance function supporting compliance-focused technology products used across the life sciences industry. An Associate QA Analyst joining this team will work under general supervision to test complex software applications, helping ensure that IQVIA’s compliance products meet rigorous quality standards before they reach internal and external stakeholders.
Role Overview
As an Associate QA Analyst at IQVIA, you will conduct quality assurance testing on highly complex software applications used for client implementation projects. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, technical leads, business analysts, and other project stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), gaining exposure to real-world compliance and regulatory technology used across the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. This is a hybrid role, combining in-office collaboration in Bangalore with flexibility for remote work on a rotating basis, as is typical for IQVIA’s technology teams in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely and meaningful feedback to the wider project team.
- Assist in creating test plans and supporting test estimations for both manual and automation testing efforts.
- Support test case planning, authoring, and execution for compliance products tied to client implementation projects.
- Assist with test iterations, track defects, and report test results while coordinating closely with cross-functional team members.
- Work alongside developers, tech leads/managers, business analysts, and consultants throughout each phase of the SDLC.
- Coordinate with business analysts and development teams to investigate and resolve open issues.
- Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate, following IQVIA’s internal quality processes.
- Flag risks proactively and seek managerial support when needed to keep projects on schedule.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Excellent computer literacy and a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred
- 1+ years of experience in the software industry, ideally within a QA or testing-adjacent function.
- Exposure to manual and/or automation testing tools and methodology.
- Familiarity with defect-tracking systems and structured SDLC environments.
- Prior exposure to regulated or compliance-driven software (life sciences, healthcare, or financial services) is an advantage.
